About Us

How We Started

Nurture and Empower Her Initiative(NEHI) was founded in 2021 with a clear vision: to empower girls and women to reach their full potential. Our organization was born out of a passion to address the systemic barriers and inequalities that prevent girls from accessing quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.

In our early years, we focused on child safeguarding by educating girls on how to protect themselves, identify and report abuses. We partnered with the international organization MBIMB, which provided us with toolkits which includes the use of songs to teach teenagers/adolescents on how to protect themselves and say NO, We distributed customized books with essential information on self-care, abuse prevention, and more.
