Every Girl Deserves a Chance Project

The project is enrolling and providing support, including tuition fees, uniforms, books, sandals, and essential items, to vulnerable girls in Bauchi State who had dropped out of school.

Menstrual Hygiene and Health Sensitization

Launched a program to educate girls on menstrual health and hygiene, distributing reusable pads and hygiene materials, and teaching proper use and maintenance.

My Period Diary Training in Schools

Educated girls and boys on menstrual hygiene and health, introduced the "My Period Diary" tracking tool, with support from the international organization She's the First, based in New York.

The Problems And How We Solve Them


  • Limited Access to Education: Vulnerable girls are unable to attend school due to financial constraints or other barriers.
    Providing educational support and resources to vulnerable girls.
  • Lack of Menstrual Health and Hygiene Education: Girls are not educated on proper menstrual hygiene, leading to health issues and stigma.
    Offering menstrual health and hygiene education and resources.
  • Child Abuse and Exploitation: Girls are vulnerable to abuse and exploitation due to lack of knowledge and resources.
    Creating safe spaces for girls to report abuse and exploitation.
  • Limited Economic Opportunities: Girls and women have limited access to economic opportunities, perpetuating poverty and inequality.
    Providing economic empowerment programs and skills training.
  • Stigma and Taboos Surrounding Menstruation: Menstruation is stigmatized, leading to girls feeling embarrassed and ashamed.
    Promoting awareness and advocacy to break down stigmas and taboos.
  • Limited Access to Healthcare: Girls and women have limited access to healthcare services, including reproductive health services.
    Facilitating access to healthcare services and reproductive health education.
  • Poverty and Lack of Economic Empowerment: Girls and women lack the skills, resources, and support to break the cycle of poverty and achieve economic independence.
